October 31 Part 2

from namba we went back to Kanaoka and we were very late. Provoking Mr. Ogawa san to bring up the "filipino time" phrase.. argh! even here? :)) he is very assuming... anyway, Mika's policeman father fetched us from school though and it was my first time to meet him... I mean, policeman + japanese + WWII = do the math? haha... of course I was nervous but her father was just as shy as mine so.. i know the drill...

family time! ITADAKEMASU!!

after eating, Mika, Takao and I were inside the car and what else did we do but... take WACKY pictures!!!!

the inoue family.
they weren't that rich. they weren't that poor. but one's thing for sure, they gave me what i wanted and more.
my host family was the B-E-S-T! calling my foster mom "mama" was indeed akward but i came to realize that she did treat me as part of the family. mika was always very accomodating to me and Takao was a brother I longed to have. Being with them taught me the importance of a FAMILY since they provided me with one when I was there!!
