I am already wearing eye glasses!

i do not know if i should cry or just accept it as it is! haha. the eye glasses that i am wearing now has a very funny story. back in grade 6, my friends were all wearing one and they asked me to have one too. i thought that getting one was as easy as buying candy in a convenience store but i got dumbfounded when my mom went with me to the eye doctor! she then tested my eyesight by letting me read the eye chart. i knew that i wanted to sport an eyeglass that coming monday so i fumbled on one letter and ended the letter "s" with a question mark. and did it convince the eye doctor. she then adviced my mom to buy an eyeglass with a grade of 25 as a correction. i made a mistake with the frame that i chose but i still wore it to school until the fad ended!

i haven't used it ever since. i kept it in one of my drawers and was confident that i would not use it anytime soon. to my surprise, two weeks ago i started seeing blurry text on our television screen and blackboard at our classroom. i thought that it was just temporary and it would fade away! i kept my eyes wide open all the time, squinted, rubbed it and gave up.

last monday, i brought my eyeglasses to school because i figured that maybe it would work on my advantage. we had our math test and everything was written on the board. i couldn't decipher what was written and so i took my eyeglass and placed it on the top of my eyes, resting it on my upper nose and my two ears. Alas! the problem really was my eye sight and for once everything became clear and crisp again!

moral lesson? i guess we should be careful about what we wish for! haha...

and now i have the biggest dilemma at hand on

how to regain my healthy eyes one more time!
