The answer: Ask the people of Sydney to turn off their lights for one hour.”
Inspired by the collective effort of millions of Sydneysiders, many major global cities are joining Earth Hour in 2008, turning a symbolic event into a global movement. Major radio stations like Magic 89.9, businesses and individuals in Metro Manila has been promoting this campaign to stop one of the major issues of the environment we face today: Global Warming.
It’s all about the cause. I ask you to join this movement and make a difference.

IF YOU'RE THINGKING THAT I'M POSTING THIS JUST FOR THE HECK OF IT... THINK AGAIN! GLOBAL WARMING ISN'T AS OVERRATED AS YOU THINK IT IS MY FRIENDS! IT'S AS SERIOUS AS LIFE AND DEATH AND SURE ENOUGH YOU HAVE SUFFERED IT'S EFFECTS WHETHER OR NOT YOU WOULD ADMIT IT! and If you're telling me you wouldn't participate in this VERY SIMPLE step in helping Mother Nature.... I ask you then... "What are you doing to help?"
It's everybody's fault.
It's everybody that must be part of the solution!
Turn off your lights at
8:30 - 9:30 pm, March 28 2009.
ONCE AGAIN!!! It's March 28, 2009 and it's my second year to participate in this simple act of switching off everything that emits light for an hour, just an hour. Last year my whole family thought I was weird but this time I have their support! :> Count me in with the rest of the community that responds to help Mother Earth. :)
