I love Bigby's

Everyone who hails from Cagayan de Oro (believe it or not, I'm not alone. :))) knows about BIGBY'S! This cafe/restaurant has been synonymous to Cagayan de Oro because it's where they had their humble beginnings! And as soon as I heard that they already have a branch in Megamall (Atrium, 3rd floor) I convinced my family to dine there once more and relive the good ol' times we used to have under the Bigby's roof. :> (You see... we eat at Bigby's a lot after hearing mass. =)) 'twas our family bonding.)

I ordered their bestseller, "Rack-a-bye baby", which is a finger-licking goodness of barbecued pork ribs served with buttered corn and carrots and rice. (okay. that came from their website. =))) But Bigby's lives up to its name and their servings are, well, big so I got overwhelmed went down to business and stuffed them all in. It's actually really good much better than Racks. (oops.) I'm still bloated, forgive me. Good thing my metabolism is fast. :>

I can't wait to invite more people to eat at Bigby's with me (KKB). It's such a great place to hang-out while going on a food trip simultaneously! A must-try with friends: Order their "Titanic treat" and try to finish this humongous ice cream desert within 2 minutes and the tab is on them! =)) Haven't tried it though. :D

Random: My latest pet peeve, Mispelled Names on Starbucks drinks. Again, I'm not alone on this one. Am I? =)))) Sometimes they ask how it's spelled sometimes they don't... uhm, whatever.
