It was no longer a question whether I was taking Estela to Fashion Week! She was on top of my mind when I was told I could have tickets; her mother was the only one she had to convince for her to tag along. Her mom agreed late last Friday, disregarding Estela’s prior texts to build tension. =)) HAHA!
The whole Sunday afternoon, we were going from one show to another from 1 to 6pm. When one wrapped up, we proceed to another and that’s why Fashion week is hectic! We catched a total of 4 shows: Jeffrey Rogador, Premier Collection E (Chris Diaz is the BEST!), Jorge Palmos, The Bench/Human/Kashieca show, which was a failure because too many people got in, and Sassa Jimenez (Estela liked the whole Romantic/Vintage appeal. :>) HAHA!
We ditched the last two shows in favour of eating dinner at TGIF. =)) We were hungry and hungry people eat (take note: walking toothpicks). All that waiting and standing and running caught up with us and by 8pm Estela’s mom and brother were there to pick her up. :> :D
Before the show, Estela's mom:
"Oh, you guys enjoy, okay?"
(yes, tita. we will.)
After the show, Estela's mom said:
"You guys enjoyed?"
(yes, tita. we did.)
