How to Lose Friends and Alienate People

A film that would be described as a "testosterone-laced Devil Wears Prada" would seem to be a movie you would like to watch no? After all, you get intrigued by how a man would be like in this predicament. This film was based on a memoir by Toby Young in his 5 year effort to make it big as a contributing editor for Vanity Fair. Of course, the film fictionalized the whole account but still the essence remains intact.

The movie stars Simon Pegg, Kirsten Dunst, Megan Fox and Jeff Bridges and is slated to premiere on October 3, 2008. This film is much hyped by MTV stating that this is "the most hilarious comedy movie of the year." Something tells me this would be a movie I'll definitely watch against all odds. :D :D :D

And boy were there many odds. :(( I posted this on August 20, 2008 and 8 months after I FINALLY SAW THIS MOVIE! ;) I really enjoyed it maybe because the movie fits my interests in the first place. New York? check. Vanity Fair? check. Megan Fox? check. 

That's Toby Young who wrote the memoir which the movie is based on and that's Graydon Carter, editor-in-chief of Vanity Fair Magazine. :>
