Happy Mother's Day!

My mom, I can tell, was not expecting anything because we kept telling her that we didn't have the money to buy her something. Today, she  got really stressed and it was just one of those days when she wasn't in her good mood (my mom's complicated like that. I'm her son so I got the whole "moody" attitude from her.) But it wasn't too late to turn things around so my older brother walked all the way to the mall, while my parents were out, to buy her a cake. When they arrived she was sitting in the living room and that was when I talked to everyone in the house to surprise her! All of the sudden her crankiness disappeared and was replaced by her sensitive side when we brought out the cake. :)) She wasn't expecting for anything but I knew she was hoping for us to go out of our way to make her feel special. I'm glad we didn't disappoint. :))

I gave my mom the painting I did of her favorite flower a week ago so my gift was already in advance. :))
