My So-Called Paintings

my FIRST attempt so go easy on it. I know it's not amazing. :)) People are so hard to paint ---------- that's the mother's gift I was talking about. her favorite flower. :)

I'm on my 7 out of 10 sessions with Sir Gerry, my painting teacher, and these are the works I've made with him so far! :)) (this is my most productive summer!) He'll just leave me with my work but when he comes over to "correct" me he'd make some changes that are sometimes okay and sometimes not. =))

It's a very frustrating process but I still am definitely learning from him. I think that the reason why he's not doting in teaching is because he wants me to find out my own techniques. Because of this, I've learned not to be afraid with my little mistakes because it's the only way I'll ever gonna learn. And again, it's all about practice since it's a skill.

Everything looks so easy until you are actually the one doing it. Painting is a hard thing to do and I'm so apologetic for thinking before that I can recreate some easily! =)) I'm getting the hang of it and I want to be good at it because it's the only thing that I probably will ever be good at! =)) I want to reach that phase when my abstract paintings will sell for Php35,000.. even though I personally think it's absurd! =)

Eye of the tiger lion... wala lang. just thought it could be nice to paint.
