there's really no doubt about it..

this year we had more dose of celebrity news than we might just handle...

its the year of scandals, controversies and showbiz commotion!

let's thank the tabloid and the paparazzo that made it possible for

us to get the latest on our favorite "famous for being famous" stars.

haha.. i just can't help it but criticize them for being popular when in fact

all they have to offer is their gorgeous faces and bodies... but

speaking of talent? some of them do have but for others...

like aside from their buzz worthy haircuts and all? nada!

however it can't be denied. they are there and they're not going anywhere.

for the next 5 years or so they would still be the ones who would grace our

TV sets as we watch the much televised E!NEWS, THE INSIDER and THE DAILY 10.

Barbara Walters just said that she's sick of it.

but honestly, when we allow ourselves to get caught in this media frenzy

then this industry isn't ending as far as i'm concerned.

let me enumerate my top 10 news makers of 2007!

and why they are receiving all that RIDICULOUS buzz.

10. VANESSA HUDGENS

for all of you High School Musical Fans out there, i'm sure you know why she's on my list. who would have thought that the innocent and pristine Gabriella has a naughty alter ego? or is it Vanessa has a naughty alter ego? That's the point she isn't gabriella! and she has (as the nude photos attests) a wild side! but what is irritating with her is that she thinks she's all that wholesome when she said that she'll never be like paris, linsay and the likes! HYPOCRITE!

9. PARIS HILTON

miss hilton is in the bottom part of our list because the frenzy about her going to jail has died down. thank God. celebrities going to jail has been the current trend in hollywood lately. they might not learn from their fellow buddies and want to experience jail themselves. the heiress served her sentence in an irregular manner going in and out of jail because of her medical reasons. and when she got out of jail she promised to change her ways but something tells me she is back in her club-hopping, boyfriend-stealing and constant media exposure stunts.

8. JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE

he is definitely a good guy this year. winning numerous awards for his best-selling futuresex/lovesounds album. he isn't involved in any scandals. BUT.. his break-up with his girlfriend for quite sometime Cameron Diaz has been a major issue this year. I wish i was that famous. haha. Whoever he hangs-out with is concluded as his girlfriend immediately. haha.. i'm sure dating must be hard for him. Though his current main squeeze is hottie jessica biel. which cameron diaz is reportedly envy of. haha.

7. KANYE WEST
he looks scary. haha. intimidating and arrogant.
When he was at the MTV Video Music Awards this year, who could forget his MTV bashing when he didn't won any award? he was also pissed off because he didn't get to perform his single on stage? talk about loving the spotlight and being in evryone's attention. he procceeded being on the gossip ciculation when he lost his mother due to complications in cosmetic surgery. wow.. too much drama!


6. RIHANNA
probably the biggest artist this year thanks to her very popular "umbrella" song has been making the rounds from one award show to the next every minute. haha. maybe that's the reason why she is reportedly in bad blood with her boss' girlfriend Beyonce. she is popular this year because of the way she styles her hair that changes as much as she does with her clothes. she has gone a long way from her "unfaithful" days wherein no one actually noticed her existence. haha. good girl gone bad a success.

5.VICTORIA BECKHAM

totally major.
victoria beckham's "posh bob" has been the most copied, most outrageous, and the most talked about haircut this year. i mean the phrase 'victoria beckham's haircut' is actually a keyword already in Yahoo! search. wow. what a haircut can do for you! :)) with that same fame for her hair she was once again famous when she reunited with her old bandmates in Spice Girls. After that.. what would she do? i bet she would changed that hair... wanna bet?

4.DAVID BECKHAM
victoria's better half is also famous this year. his family moved to Los Angeles for him to play in L.A. Galaxy and since then he rose to superstardom fame. US not being big soccer lover, has transformed into a soccer fanatic country when this british footballer came. haha. david beckham is also in everyone's lips up to this date because he has become the latest model for Giorgio Armani. and the pics that shows david scantily clad have changed the way both women and men view about underwear. haha. it is an uproar!

3.JAMIE LYNN SPEARS

the latest newsmaker but the most discussed wherever forum, website and blog you go to is who we always knew as "Britney's sister". it must be sad living under your sister's shadows that is why i think she decided to have a baby and get pregnant. just kidding! she was always viewed by everybody as the one who would change the way people percieved the spears family as but as fate has decided. she got knocked up. the 16-year-old nickelodeon star is having a baby with his baby daddy, Casey Alridge. I wish them both because honestly they have to deal with it no matter what!

2. KATIE HOLMES

why is katie holmes number two?

i'm making a list of who's been a newsmaker for a crzy reason right? there you go. Katie holmes is at nimber two. wait, why does she still go with holmes when she already married Cruise? anyway, back to the topic. Katie Cruise debuted her bob, similar to her good friend Victoria Beckham's earlier this year, and it was good publicity for her. An upgrade. But the recently debuted bob with bangs was an overnight sensation. People talked about it and decided whether it looked good on her, debated, shared their opinions and etc. WOW! make sure you think about what haircut you should get next.. you don't know if that will make you famous one day! you wish! :))

1. BRITNEY SPEARS

she started the year with a bang (in case you haven't heard she shaved her head) and she might as well end it with a bang to! she has been voted the most talked about star of 2007! according to people.com that is. Britney has been criticized so much that i would like to praise her for taking one step at a time to pull herself back together. she went in and out in rehab, had her 1st heinous MTV performance, worn a wig to cover her head, has been in constant custody battle with K-Fed, and recently has to deal with her sister's preganancy but despite all this she still smiles at the papparazi. Kudos to her for keeping it real in Hollywood and for her BLACKOUT album!
