buzz

The buzz now is that a local version will be made based on the most talked-about show of 2007: Gossip Girl. It will be aired in you-know-where (where else?) which is not really impossible after they acquired an Ugly Betty franchise which is really costly. However, I really do not know any further details about this and I do not know if there are any truth to this. But let me voice out my opinion: "The whole concept might sound really great and there are numerous stars who could very much fill up the roles of the show but I'd rather have them not do it. Why? Because it's going to be as pretentious as it could get." But who am I right? ;)
