Tomorrow is my UPCAT sched but if I don't blog about this I think I'm going to explode. I'm so frustrated. :|

@chari: HEY! =)) The rule "DON'T SPEAK UNLESS SPOKEN TO" is really more for that third-party who tries to blurt out something hoping to be noticed but ends up as being obnoxious. :| THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH STRIKING A CONVERSATION WITH SOMEONE... When you want to be a Good Samaritan to a stranger go ahead! The character that irritates most human beings is one who says the wrong things, joining the conversation at the wrong time.

INDEED. =)) It's really just a matter of perspective! Malamang if you are her critic then nothing that she does would impress you... DUH. :| You have to question their objectives of doing so and if they have other vested interests. There's just SO MUCH accusations thrown her way and I applaud her for doing her job despite all of this. (Let's see: She never said there would be Martial Law... She never desired to stay in power beyond her term... She has been doing her job quite effectively so what's up with misgovernance? "My critics are afraid of their own shadows." =))) Her speech has been adorned with clever retorts against her critics and it was the best time for her to do it. ;) This was her last State of the Nation Address, it's like her last 2 minutes before the game ends... and she nailed it.

A while ago Karl and I were able to submit our ACET Forms and Requirements with Emil's help. We were only in school until 12 noon for the College Mock Exams and after that we tagged along with Emil as he was Ateneo bound too.

Walking inside the campus was conducive to inspiration and motivation. :(( You can't help but want to study in Ateneo. The place is so inviting. :(( I'm at loss for words. . . . . .

English Class

JR brought his camera to school last Thursday and I got excited because Miss Lally allowed us to use it. :)) (The school is so strict with bringing gadgets to school. :-L) That's our English teacher/ 4A Class adviser, Miss Lally. I have always like my English Teachers and she's no exception. :-j :)) We had a presentation about Greek Mythology but it was cut short due to early dismissal. :)) :)) THANKS JR! Yearning...

Sigh. I miss going home to this house. It was completed in 2003, this was our second house in Cagayan de Oro. It was really my parents who took care of everything from buying the nails to what lights are going to be used; it was our family project because they got us involved as well. :D I had my own room most importantly. But we lived there only for 3 years, given that we relocated to Manila after. Now it's being rented by... Koreans. :> :> :> They are everywhere... :)) haha.

UPDATE: HAHA. 2007 pic naman para it would look improved and lived already. =)) =)) The trees are meant to somehow block the glass. Privacy issues. :)) :| I remember riding my bike and feeling the air move against me. When was the last time I did that? :((((( Babaw ko, I know. :))

I don't know how to play basketball. That's hardly an earth-shattering confession. :)) (Waaat. NO ONE TAUGHT ME. huhu. Fail Childhood. Ano? MILO BEST dapat? %-) Are you kidding me. L-)) BUT, BUT, BUT... Playing is different from watching! Though I think it's already a waste of time if I try to learn (ang dami ng magaling. I have other things planned.) don't get me wrong... Watching the game is my new favorite hobby. :)) I got used to it and it helps if you always watch live. :-j I will never claim to understand the "science" of basketball (lalim kaya minsan "warning to san miguel beermen, for failure of court decorum." "resentment to a call" ...bahala na yan. :-j) ... and I just watch simply for the game and how the players play in the court. :> Bow.

Today was GAME 7 of the Finals between Ginebra and San Miguel Beer! I'm not a sportswriter but the bottomline is SMB WON!!!! 90-79. :> :> :> I like it when the Ginebra crowd shuts up. :)) Anyway, after the game in Araneta my mom took us to the victory party. \:D/ =)) Sorry, fan mode kay Pingris (ehem, ROI MARCIAL you should've joined me. haha. SAYANG. :-L) and Freeman! It's so cool I got to talk to them for like a minute or so. :-j =)) The euphoria is understandable because it took four years for the SAN MIGUEL BEERMEN to become a CHAMPION once again. \:D/ CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

Fender Bender

40 minutes more and we would've had a normal dismissal time. Plans made after school were scrapped because the school wanted us to go home early due to bad weather. My dad fetched me earlier than what we have talked about. Kenny hitched for a ride and we were talking until a delivery truck hit our car from behind. :-L Ideally, I should've been home early but, needless to say, this wasn't what happened. :-L

Honors Assembly

Only the First and Second Honors, as well as the Subject Medalists, are invited to join the Honors Assembly. Those in the Honorable Mention? We are not good enough. :| For the past three years of my stay in La Salle, I have NOT attended this Assembly which I felt was just as hard as getting the Golden Ticket. :-L (Hint: Willy Wonka.) =))

This time though I was an usher. One who is employed to escort people to their seats. :| Fulfilling no? :| (I got to escort Jun Lozada. \:D/ Uhm, in other words I told him where to seat SIT! =))) I still went with this compromise because, for the first time, I would get to witness what the Honors Assembly is really all about.

I was proud of my friends when I saw them go up that stage and receive their medals LIKE THEY JUST DIDN'T KNOW HOW TO SHARE! =)) They wore one after another, their medals were dangling and clashing, it made noises! I wish they asked me to wear some to avoid straining their necks. =)) Nobody's jealous over here... :-" CONGRATULATIONS! :D

SENIORS, raise your hands!!! Everyone who is applying for Ateneo is bothered whether the Personal Essay should be handwritten or computerized. Well, I asked Sir Ira, our Guidance Counselor, and this is what he had to say:

"lorenz, kung maganda ang sulat kamay mo ok lang na handwritten. pero if you are not too confident that people will understand your handwriting, it's ok to type it in the computer and just print it. "

(I finished making my essay already! :> Handwritten para more personal. :>)

"Mars Climate Orbiter is the..." Suddenly there was a text from Bjorn saying he wanted to chill for a bit because he was bored . Of course, I'm a good friend and I headed to Starbucks. He left and it was my dad's turn to text inviting me to watch PBA with him. Of course, I'm a good son and we watched Game 1 of the Finals that ended around 10:30pm. @-) My Physics homework was never finished. =))
